It’s Memorial Day Weekend, a time to honor those who have perished in their efforts to “serve and protect” our freedom to live incredibly abundant lives. It’s also the weekend of unofficial definition between spring and summer.
Kick the weekend off with a party at ELINOR. New offerings have been flowing into the shop this past week, including hand-painted silks; exquisite bead-woven jewelry; lots of tops, including plus sizes; frilly to functional bags; luxurious, woven bamboo scarves and shawls; polymer clay buttons, pendants and pins; and some lovely, long-burning candles.
No doubt there will be chocolate and other delectables.
Free parking in the street, behind the shop and in the lot next door.

I was utterly overjoyed to see Allison Kaplan’s very positive comments on “Elinor” in the Pioneer Press and in her website – Alishops.com.
